Hi and welcome!

I am currently a Visiting Fellow at the Oxford Martin School at Oxford University. I am also academic consultant to the European Central Bank Research Network “Challenges to Monetary Policy”. I will also be visiting the Center for Economic Studies at LMU Munich in Summer 2024.

I am Associate Professor of Economics (with tenure) at ECARES, at the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management, Université Libre de Bruxelles.

I am also Research Affiliate at CEPR (trade and IO programs), and Fellow at VIVES.

My research agenda focuses on production networks, trade, and industrial organization.

This agenda is currently supported for 1.5 million euro as a Principal Investigator, and a total portfolio of 8.5 million euro as a collaborator, by the following grants:

• BELSPO HAIOPOLICY Grant on inequality in production networks and consumption heterogeneity (lead promotor, 881k euro, 2023-2027).

• Exceptional Research Grant by FNRS on Covid-19 and the resilience of global value chains (lead promotor, 250k euro, 2020-2023).

• ARC (Actions de Recherche Concertées) on Superstar firms in production networks (single promotor, 250k euro, 2021-2024).

• BELSPO BE-PIN on Post-Covid academic and policy collaboration and preparedness (collaborator, 2 mln euro, 2023-2027)

• AIML4OS on Foundations and Advances of Machine Learning in Official Statistics (collaborator, 4 mln euro, 2024-2028)

• BELSPO BE-PARADIS Grant on wealth inequality in Belgium (collaborator, 1.2 mio euro , 2020-2024).
